SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Products ordered from formarkivet.com will be delivered to the countries listed in the online ordering form. If you wish to have your order delivered to a country not included in the dropdown menu, please contact us at
We offer free delivery on orders placed over 1.490 kr. / 200 EUR.
Depending on your order, delivery will be handled by either a courier or a shipping agent, and this information will be provided on the delivery note you receive once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse. We do not deliver to PO boxes and non-bridged islands.
We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If your order contains items with different dispatch dates, we will proceed with partial deliveries. In the event of any production delays or other issues that may affect the confirmed dispatch date, we will notify you promptly.
The freight rates can vary according to the number of products and the volume of these in your basket. For the specific price for your order, please go to check out and select your delivery country.
Parcel Post
Depending on your selected delivery method, courier transport for stocked products within Denmark & the Nordics will typically take 1-4 working days from the confirmed dispatch date. Larger furniture products, made-to-order and pre-orders will ship according to the estimated delivery date stated on the product page.
Pallet and Furniture Delivery
For larger furniture items, deliveries will be made to the curbside of your delivery address via our chosen courier. All customers will be contacted regarding the delivery date, so please ensure you are home at the time of delivery. If you are not present at the agreed delivery time, your item may be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, please reach out to us for further assistance.
For deliveries made through a shipping agent, a legally competent recipient authorized by you must be available to sign for the receipt of the products. Upon receiving your order, it is essential to verify that you have received the correct items and inspect them for any damage. If everything is in order, the shipping agent will request your signature for the delivery.
If the packaging is damaged or shows visible defects, please indicate this on the bill of carriage by qualifying your signature (i.e., accepting receipt conditionally). You have the right to refuse delivery and ask the driver to return it.
If you discover that a product is damaged or defective after unpacking, please contact our support team at info@formarkivet.com for assistance. Due to verification procedures, please reach out within five days of receipt. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

Duties & Taxes
If your country is part of the European Union (EU), you will be charged the applicable tax rate for your location.
For orders outside the EU, you may incur VAT, import duties, and/or taxes upon receipt of your package, which are imposed by customs authorities. FORMARKIVET ships your package under the Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means that we do not collect VAT, duties, or taxes at checkout, and we cannot predict what specific charges may apply to your order. If you do incur any additional charges, you are solely responsible for paying them. Duties and taxes must be settled before your package can be delivered.
FORMARKIVET does not cover any additional storage or shipping costs that may arise from delays in customs clearance or duty/tax payments. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
WARRANTY & RETURNS
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Please note that FORMARKIVET does not cover the cost of return shipping. You are responsible for any damage that may occur during transit, so we recommend selecting a delivery option that includes tracking and insurance.
All products must be returned in their original packaging and condition. If the original packaging is not available, this may result in a reduction in the product's value.
If you receive a product that is defective, such as one with faulty materials or a manufacturing defect, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. You have the right to report product defects within 24 months from the date of delivery. You are entitled to have them either repaired or exchanged. If a repair or exchange cannot be completed within a reasonable timeframe, you may request a refund or, in certain circumstances, a proportional reduction in the price.
To file a complaint, please contact us via email at info@formarkivet.com. For us to assist you effectively, your complaint must include your order number, photos of the faulty product, and a detailed description of the issue(s). Please provide as much information and documentation as possible.
Please note that we are not liable for any defects resulting from improper use of the goods, nor can we be held responsible for any losses incurred during the repair or replacement of defective items.
Any alterations made to the product will void the Warranty.
How to Make a Claim
To make a claim, please email us at info@formarkivet.com and, include photographs of the defective items. We recommend that you report any defects as soon as you discover them, ideally within 7 days.
If your claim is approved, FORMARKIVET will arrange for the return of the goods at no cost to you. When returning defective items, please ensure they are properly packaged.
Exceptions to Cancellation Rights
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom and made to order products (such as upholstered seating), and personal & home care goods (such as scented products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
How to Cancel an Order
To cancel your order, please notify us by sending an email to the FORMARKIVET support team at info@formarkivet.com. We will assist you with the cancellation.
Return of Goods
When contacting us, please specify that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation and indicate whether you intend to return your entire order or just part of it.
All exchanges are contingent upon product availability. If the item you wish to exchange is in stock, we will gladly assist you with the exchange process.

This is contingent upon us having received and inspected the returned good. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original order. Please note that the original shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable. For customers in the EU, VAT will be included in the refund.
Items purchased online cannot be exchanged or refunded at our physical stores.
Packaging and Condition of Returned Goods
When returning items, please ensure they are in their original packaging. You may open the packaging to check or test the goods; however, if the packaging is missing or damaged, this may be deemed a reduction in value, which could result in FORMARKIVET deducting an amount from your refund that corresponds to this impairment.
You are required to return the goods in the same condition as they were received. If you have used the items in a manner that exceeds what is necessary for checking their functionality or features, you may be liable for a reduction in value.
Please ensure that all returned items are securely wrapped. The goods remain your responsibility until they are received by FORMARKIVET.

Damaged Goods & Warranty
Our commitment to quality, durability, and responsibility is woven into every step of our production process. By collaborating closely with skilled artisans, this approach not only infuses our creations with a sense of heritage and craftsmanship but also reflects our dedication to enduring quality. It is important to note that because much of our production is handcrafted, some small imperfections may occur and are often a natural part of the materials we use.
However, if your item arrives damaged in any way, we encourage you to contact us immediately.
If your item(s) appear to be damaged or broken during transit, please submit a claim by reaching out to info@formarkivet.com. It is essential to report any damaged goods right away upon receipt.
Faulty items will be replaced with the same type of product, subject to availability.
