OVERVIEW
These general terms and conditions for sales and delivery (the “T&C”) apply to the purchase of goods at formarkivet.com, owned and administered by FORMARKIVET APS, CVR no. 39 85 00 44, located at Danneskiold-Samsøes Allé 24, 1434 København K, Denmark (“FORMARKIVET”, “we” or “us”). By ordering goods from formarkivet.com, you agree to comply with and be bound by these T&C. Please note that these terms may be amended from time to time at FORMARKIVET’s discretion. Before making a purchase at formarkivet.com, we recommend that you read through our terms and conditions carefully.

PRICES
All prices on the website include local VAT.
Please note that FORMARKIVET is not responsible for fluctuations in currency rates; your bank determines the exchange rate that will appear on your credit card statement. An additional shipping cost will apply to all orders below EUR 200. The shipping method will be selected by you at the end of the ordering process, and the effective price will be displayed in the collective order overview before you confirm your order.
If you fail to collect your parcel from a collection point or are absent at the agreed delivery time and location, any redelivery costs will be your responsibility.
The company does not handle transportation of goods directly. Unless specified otherwise by the customer, goods will be handed over to a forwarding company for delivery on behalf of the customer. The shipping type will be selected by you at the end of the ordering process, and transport costs will be displayed in the online shop as well as included in the total price prior to placing an order.
DUTIES & TAXES
If your country is part of the European Union (EU), you will be charged the applicable tax rate for your location.
For orders outside the EU, you may incur VAT, import duties, and/or taxes upon receipt of your package, which are imposed by customs authorities. FORMARKIVET ships your package under the Incoterm Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). This means that we do not collect VAT, duties, or taxes at checkout, and we cannot predict what specific charges may apply to your order. If you do incur any additional charges, you are solely responsible for paying them. Duties and taxes must be settled before your package can be delivered.
FORMARKIVET does not cover any additional storage or shipping costs that may arise from delays in customs clearance or duty/tax payments. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
ORDER CONFIRMATION
After placing your order, you will automatically receive an email receipt detailing the products you have ordered. Once we have verified your order, we will send you an order confirmation via email.
Please note that until you receive this order confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel your order in whole or in part due to significant pricing or text errors on the website or if items are out of stock. If this happens, you will be notified by email.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Union Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, iDeal, and PayPal in most regions. The full amount will be charged upon receipt of your order, even for pre-ordered items. Please note that if you cancel your order due to a future delivery date, we are unable to reserve stock, and paid preorders will be prioritized.
If you are charged an incorrect amount while shopping on our webshop, we will offer you the option to either place a new order at the correct price or cancel your existing order. If we cannot reach you regarding this matter, your order will be automatically canceled.
SHIPPING
Products ordered from formarkivet.com will be delivered to the countries listed in the online ordering form. If you would like delivery to a country that is not included in the dropdown menu, please contact us for possible solutions. Delivery will be handled by a courier or shipping agent, and this information will be provided on the delivery note you receive once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse.
We aim to deliver your order as quickly as possible. If your order contains items with different dispatch dates, we will arrange for partial delivery. In the event of a production delay or any other issue that may affect the confirmed dispatch date, we will notify you promptly.
Parcel Post
Depending on your selected delivery method, courier transport for in-stock items will typically occur within 1-4 working days from the confirmed dispatch date.
Pallet and Furniture Delivery
For orders of larger furniture items, deliveries will be made to the curbside of your delivery address by our chosen courier. Customers will be notified in advance regarding the delivery date, so please ensure that someone is present at the address during the scheduled delivery. If you are not home at the agreed time, your item may be returned to the warehouse, and you will need to contact us for further assistance.
For deliveries made through a shipping agent, a designated recipient with legal authority must be present to sign for the receipt of the products. Upon receiving your order, it’s crucial to verify that you have received the correct items and inspect them for any damage. If everything is in order, the shipping agent will request your signature for confirmation.
If the packaging appears damaged or shows visible defects, please qualify your signature on the bill of carriage (i.e., accepting it conditionally) to indicate potential damage to the contents. You have the right to refuse delivery and ask the driver to return the package.
If you discover any damage or defects after unpacking, please reach out to our support team at info@formarkivet.com for assistance. To ensure a timely resolution, please contact us within five days of receiving your order. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
YOUR ACCOUNT
Visitors to this Website/App who are 16 years of age or older may create an account ("Account"). Please note that certain features and services on this Website/App may not be accessible without an Account. Creating an Account is mandatory for making purchases through our website.
To set up an Account, you will need to provide an email address and password. For order placement, additional information such as your name, address, and phone number will also be required. FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of Force Majeure, FORMARKIVET obligations are rendered null and void. This means that the contract between you and FORMARKIVET may be partially or fully terminated by either party.
Definition of Force Majeure: Force Majeure is defined as any event that is beyond our control, which may include but is not limited to: War, Civil war, Revolution, Riots, Governmental actions or measures, Strikes or lockouts, Blockages, Failures of electricity, telephone, or internet services, Natural disasters or similar events
In such circumstances, FORMARKIVET will make every effort to resolve the situation for our customers as quickly and completely as possible.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
At FORMARKIVET, we strive to resolve any disputes with our customers promptly and amicably. If you have a complaint regarding your order or our services, we encourage you to contact us first at info@formarkivet.com. Our customer service team is dedicated to addressing your concerns and finding a satisfactory resolution.
If we are unable to resolve the issue together, and you are a Danish citizen, you may file a complaint with the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Center for Complaint Resolution at Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can submit your complaint through their website at www.forbrug.dk.
For consumers residing in other EU countries, you can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to submit your complaint. This platform allows consumers and traders to resolve disputes related to online purchases. You can access the ODR platform at http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
